Hike Mokhtara to Haret Jan­dal

A 10km hike (825m altitude) from Mokhtara to Haret Jan­dal in the Chouf Bio­sphere Re­serve. Tak­ing hik­ers along the Barouk river, the walk passes un­der the im­pres­sive cliff of Ama­tour, cross­ing two Ot­toman and Mam­luk wooden bridges, old caves, old mills, an old burial ground, a wa­ter­fall, and fi­nally a for­est track that ends the trail. Hike Smar Jbeil
