CELEBRATIN­G THE COUNTRY’S ARCHITECTU­RAL HERITAGE

To mark National Heritage Day all the main tour istic sites of the countr y, par ticularly the countr y’s impressive ruins that line the countr y from Byblos and Tr ipoli to Batroun, Baalbeck, Saida and Sour, will open their doors to all Lebanese for free. In Byblos, the Municipali­ty of Jbeil-byblos, the Cultural Center of Byblos and the Office of Ruins in Byblos will be doing a special program to celebrate the day. The American University of Technology (AUT) will take par t in the event with a program that includes painting and photograph­y exhibition­s, the display of an inter ior design project linked to Byblos and the broadcasti­ng of films related to the Phoenician­s.
