Lebanon Traveler - - REGION THROUGH AN ARTIST’S EYES -

Lo­cated in the Bekaa Val­ley, Ecolodge Tanail is com­posed of seven adobe stone houses, each ac­com­mo­dat­ing five to seven peo­ple. They are built ac­cord­ing to the tra­di­tions of the re­gion, from the ar­chi­tec­ture it­self to the doors, hand­i­craft work and floors. Their restau­rant, Khan al Mak­soud, serves up tra­di­tional Le­banese food on its out­door ter­race. Run by NGO Ar­cenciel, all prof­its go to help­ing the dis­abled be self suf­fi­cient.
