It starts with a drink and then by the end of the night, a tray of some­thing dan­ger­ous is passed around. For those shoot­ers at home, Se­vag Jere­jian of Bar Troops will get the party started - we make no prom­ises as to your be­hav­ior af­ter­wards

IN­GRE­DI­ENTS

1L gin 1 nori sheet 1 chili pep­per 1/2 fresh cu­cum­ber 10ml lemon juice 15ml al­mond syrup 4 drops soy sauce Dash of sesame seeds 1 slice pick­led ginger

PREPA­RA­TION

In­fuse the nori and chili with the gin for one day. In a shaker, mix the 1/2 cu­cum­ber with : 60ml of the in­fused g gin, 10ml lemon juice and with the 15ml al­mond syrup. Add ic ice and shake well. Dou­ble strain in shot glasses (the recipe m makes two serv­ings or two shots only). Add four drops of so soy sauce in each shot. Put the pick­led ginger on a tooth­pick a and hold it on the top of the shot glass as gar­nish. Sprin­kle the sesame seeds on top of each shot.
