11. CON­VERSE LAUNCHES GLOBAL “MADE BY YOU” CAM­PAIGN

Con­verse has an­nounced the global launch of “Made by you” - a land­mark brand cam­paign cel­e­brat­ing fans of the brand that have been ex­press­ing them­selves and their cre­ativ­ity in Chuck Tay­lor All Star sneak­ers for nearly 100 years. For the Spring 2015 cam­paign, Con­verse scoured the globe to col­lect beloved and dis­tinctly per­sonal Chuck Tay­lor All Star sneak­ers, each of which tells a story of trans­for­ma­tion from blank can­vas to self-por­trait of their owner. “‘Made by you’ orig­i­nated from a sim­ple hu­man truth – we all want to be our true, au­then­tic self in this world,” said Ian Stewart, Vice Pres­i­dent of Global Mar­ket­ing.

12. DI­A­GEO SHOW­CASES BAR­TENDERS WITH LUX­U­RI­OUS COM­PE­TI­TION

On the 1st of April, 2015, Le­banon’s lead­ing mixol­o­gists gath­ered to par­tic­i­pate in first burst of the Di­a­geo World Class Com­pe­ti­tion held at Caprice, bring­ing to­gether tal­ent and taste un­der the theme “the Fun­da­men­tals of Fla­vor”. Di­a­geo part­nered with in­ter­na­tional and lo­cal mixol­ogy and hos­pi­tal­ity gu­rus se­lected as World­class Le­banon 2015 judges bring­ing their ex­cep­tional crafts­man­ship and mixol­ogy knowl­edge to sup­port the in­dus­try’s most cred­i­ble in­vest­ment in the lux­ury on trade.

13. VIR­GIN MEGA­S­TORE IN­TRO­DUCES MRS. BOW TIE TO LE­BANON

In col­lab­o­ra­tion with In­nova Beirut, Vir­gin Mega­s­tore en­tered the fash­ion world by in­tro­duc­ing the English brand Mrs. Bow Tie to the Le­banese mar­ket dur­ing an event that took place at ABC Achrafieh on the 1st of April 2015, in the pres­ence of lo­cal media, blog­gers, and fash­ion in­flu­encers and Vir­gin Mega­s­tore VIP clients. Vis­it­ing Le­banon for the first time, Andy Evans, Mrs. Bow Tie brand de­signer landed at Vir­gin Mega­s­tore, show­cas­ing his unique brand to the Le­banese fash­ion-lovers.

14. ALFA HOLDS “RÉNOVER NE PAS JETER” EX­HIBITON

Alfa, man­aged by Oras­com Tele­com, or­ga­nized in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Fa­ther An­deweg In­sti­tute for the Deaf the “Rénover ne pas Jeter” ex­hi­bi­tion at Farra De­sign Gallery in Mkalles, which fea­tured 18 pieces of old fur­ni­ture that were re­designed and ren­o­vated by the In­sti­tute’s stu­dents. This new ini­tia­tive is part of the “Alfa 4-Life” CSR Pro­gram and aims to in­te­grate stu­dents with spe­cial needs in the com­mu­nity, and es­pe­cially in the work­place. Alfa Chief Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Af­fairs Of­fi­cer Mrs. Aline Karam af­firmed that this ini­tia­tive is a con­tin­u­a­tion of the years of co­op­er­a­tion with the Fa­ther An­deweg In­sti­tute and comes in the con­text of the roadmap Alfa started with the In­sti­tute two years ago.

15. LIZA IN­TRO­DUCES ITS LUNCH ON A TRAY

Af­ter the brunch, tai­lored events and daily dishes, Liza launches lunch on a tray. For busi­ness meet­ings or lunches among friends, a bal­anced, healthy and quick meal is served on a blanched cop­per tray (4 mezzes and a warm dish, meat eater, veg­e­tar­ian or not), with or with­out gluten so all types of ap­petites can gather at the same ta­ble. Karen Chek­er­jian, inspired by the house style, con­ceived this tray ex­clu­sively for Liza.
