11. CONVERSE LAUNCHES GLOBAL “MADE BY YOU” CAMPAIGN
Converse has announced the global launch of “Made by you” - a landmark brand campaign celebrating fans of the brand that have been expressing themselves and their creativity in Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers for nearly 100 years. For the Spring 2015 campaign, Converse scoured the globe to collect beloved and distinctly personal Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers, each of which tells a story of transformation from blank canvas to self-portrait of their owner. “‘Made by you’ originated from a simple human truth – we all want to be our true, authentic self in this world,” said Ian Stewart, Vice President of Global Marketing.
12. DIAGEO SHOWCASES BARTENDERS WITH LUXURIOUS COMPETITION
On the 1st of April, 2015, Lebanon’s leading mixologists gathered to participate in first burst of the Diageo World Class Competition held at Caprice, bringing together talent and taste under the theme “the Fundamentals of Flavor”. Diageo partnered with international and local mixology and hospitality gurus selected as Worldclass Lebanon 2015 judges bringing their exceptional craftsmanship and mixology knowledge to support the industry’s most credible investment in the luxury on trade.
13. VIRGIN MEGASTORE INTRODUCES MRS. BOW TIE TO LEBANON
In collaboration with Innova Beirut, Virgin Megastore entered the fashion world by introducing the English brand Mrs. Bow Tie to the Lebanese market during an event that took place at ABC Achrafieh on the 1st of April 2015, in the presence of local media, bloggers, and fashion influencers and Virgin Megastore VIP clients. Visiting Lebanon for the first time, Andy Evans, Mrs. Bow Tie brand designer landed at Virgin Megastore, showcasing his unique brand to the Lebanese fashion-lovers.
14. ALFA HOLDS “RÉNOVER NE PAS JETER” EXHIBITON
Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, organized in collaboration with the Father Andeweg Institute for the Deaf the “Rénover ne pas Jeter” exhibition at Farra Design Gallery in Mkalles, which featured 18 pieces of old furniture that were redesigned and renovated by the Institute’s students. This new initiative is part of the “Alfa 4-Life” CSR Program and aims to integrate students with special needs in the community, and especially in the workplace. Alfa Chief Communication Affairs Officer Mrs. Aline Karam affirmed that this initiative is a continuation of the years of cooperation with the Father Andeweg Institute and comes in the context of the roadmap Alfa started with the Institute two years ago.
15. LIZA INTRODUCES ITS LUNCH ON A TRAY
After the brunch, tailored events and daily dishes, Liza launches lunch on a tray. For business meetings or lunches among friends, a balanced, healthy and quick meal is served on a blanched copper tray (4 mezzes and a warm dish, meat eater, vegetarian or not), with or without gluten so all types of appetites can gather at the same table. Karen Chekerjian, inspired by the house style, conceived this tray exclusively for Liza.
