In the new 2015 ad cam­paign for the Lady Dior bag pho­tographed by Peter Lind­bergh, its muse, the ac­tress Mar­ion Cotil­lard, em­bod­ies a woman drawn from some far-off hori­zon, alone and in an arid desert, sur­rounded by gi­gan­tic so­lar pan­els. The graphic and fu­tur­is­tic set­ting echoes the bag she car­ries, whether in met­al­ized leather or the can­nage mo­tif re­vis­ited.
