14. TOUCH CELEBRATES THE “TEXT IF YOU CAN” CAMPAIGN AND HONORS CELEBRITY PARTICIPANTS
Under the auspices of Telecommunications Minister, Boutros Harb, Touch, the leading telecommunications and mobile data operator in Lebanon, managed by Zain Group, the pioneering mobile and data services operator in the Middle East and Africa, held a gala dinner to honor celebrities who have partaken in the Text If You Can campaign at the Phoenicia Hotel. The campaign, launched a few months ago in collaboration with YASA, aimed to raise awareness on the dangers of using mobile phones while driving, texting in specific.
15. TOTAL LIBAN CELEBRATES WORLD SAFETY DAY
On the occasion of World Safety Day, celebrated on 28 April, Total Liban launched, like every year, an initiative to promote a culture of safety among its employees, the media and its customers.
