17. DI­A­GEO COM­PE­TI­TION DIS­COV­ERS LE­BANON’S BEST MIXOL­O­GIST

Di­a­geo Le­banon crowned Re­faat Ghostin from Cen­tral Sta­tion as Le­banon’s Best bar­tender, in the most pres­ti­gious mixol­ogy global com­pe­ti­tion. Di­a­geo WORLD­CLASS 2015 Fi­nale was held at Train­sta­tion in Mar Mikhael on June 3rd; the event pit­ted the seven lo­cal fi­nal­ists against each other, in a se­ries of chal­lenges to se­lect this year’s cham­pion. Two pre­lim­i­nary ses­sions and lots of train­ing and prepa­ra­tions over a pe­riod of two months cul­mi­nated in an ex­tra­or­di­nary evening for a fi­nal show­down of shak­ing and stir­ring.

18. FA THER'S DAY AT LA­COSTE

Pass­ing down the love for the crocodile, La­coste Le­banon hosted a Fa­ther’s Day event on June 17th, 2015, at ABC Achrafieh in cel­e­bra­tion of all the croco­dads! Press rep­re­sen­ta­tives and blog­gers en­joyed welcome drinks which were later fol­lowed by a game of golf whose cham­pi­ons won the sig­na­ture polo with a Fa­ther’s Day twist! Mak­ing sure the gift of La­coste is for­ever re­mem­bered by fa­ther, son and gen­er­a­tions to come. La­coste of­fered a per­son­al­ized com­pli­men­tary ser­vice of em­broi­der­ing the ini­tials of the win­ners’ dad on any polo. With a touch of el­e­gance and joie de vivre, La­coste made sure the croco­dad’s polo is stylishly worn in the com­ing sea­son and per­fectly re­mem­bered in the com­ing years!

19. HEART­BEAT CEL­E­BRATES 10TH ANIVERSARY

An enor­mous, fairy­tale wor­thy of a Las Ve­gas show, is how as­ton­ished guests de­scribed Heart­beat’s Gala din­ner, which took place at BIEL, May 22nd. The As­so­ci­a­tion cel­e­brated, with great fanfare its 10th an­niver­sary, which trans­formed the BIEL hall into a night­club and a cer­e­mony room, con­sist­ing of a large set­ting of 33 m and a wide am­phithe­ater that hosted the 1,100 au­di­ence mem­bers. The three am­bas­sadors of Heart­beat, Maxime Chaya, Aimée Sayah, and Daniella Rahmé, took in charge the pre­sen­ta­tions that fol­lowed the mag­nif­i­cent con­cert, which gath­ered more than 50 singers, mu­si­cians, and dancers, who were all vol­un­teers that kin­dled the event and charmed the public.

21. EN­DEAV­OUR LE­BANON GALA DINER

On Thurs­day June 4th, 2015, En­deavor Le­banon held its sec­ond fundrais­ing Gala din­ner at the Beirut Mu­sic Hall Wa­ter­front, bring­ing to­gether over 500 busi­ness peo­ple and en­trepreneurs. In sup­port of the coun­try’s grow­ing en­tre­pre­neur­ial ecosys­tem, lead­ing en­trepreneurs Se­lim Edde, founder of Le­banese multi­na­tional tech­nol­ogy com­pany Murex, and Chris Rogers, founder of global wire­less com­pany Nex­tel, at­tended the gala and inspired the crowds with their key notes, suc­cess sto­ries, hope and faith in Le­banon.
