symphony of accessible sumptuousness that tells a story is what Maison Obergine is all about. The brand’s main mission is to share endowed Syrian craftsmanship to the world whilst reviving and conserving the longevity of Syrian expertise despite the war’s tragic impact. Meet the ambitious duo behind the uprising label, Rita Betinjaneh and Carine Massoud, whose main mission is to shed light on craftsmanship through contemporary aesthetics. Bridging the past with the present, Maison Obergine highlights Syria’s timeless reputation for specialized knowledge and artistic handmade skillfulness. The designers aim to bring light on the delicate handcraft and intricate expertise that ages centuries while reviving handmade passion. Since 2008, the “O” has stood for oriental inspiration. Using one of the oldest metals of all time, copper, the brand embodies class, sophistication, elegance and refined femininity. Other variations of metals also take part of the collection such as gilded gold, silver charms, precious–stoned trinkets and pearl-adorned creations that add an instant flair to gemstones. In addition to traditional knick-knacks, the house of jewelry creates an array of inimitable handmade shawls to suit every taste and style. Among their many artistic endeavors, Maison Obergine will showcase their collection at Bijorhca - the International Fine, Fashion, Jewelry & Watches Show – that will take place in January 2016 in Paris. More than just a brand, Maison Obergine’s delegation is set to merge the philanthropic drive to help unwaged Syrians and give back to the community with a higher purpose of keeping Syrian heritage alive. A message of hope travels from Damascus to all over the world through these charms. A message that aspires faith and a brighter tomorrow for those distressed craftsmen arising from a shattered country after the war. The house of jewelry is set to become an international brand targeted by discerning fashion-conscious, elegant and smart women. With roots in history, design excellence, a refined handmade craftsmanship and an eloquent cause – their vision will be within reach.
