Exceptional savoir-faire

Perlée creations are faithful to the tradition of excellence that Van Cleef & Arpels has maintained for over 100 years. From the beaded setting used by the Maison in the 1920s to the bracelets and necklaces of golden beads, this technique has been passed down and refined over the years. Today, the craftsmen’s expertise is expressed in a succession of gestures – all patiently executed by hand – that require rigor and precision. One by one, the beads that make up the piece are worked by hand, then polished several times to create a smooth and mirror-like appearance. Carefully fitted by the craftsman, a discrete clasp enables the bracelet to be worn and removed with great fluidity. The attention to detail and the time spent shaping these Perlée creations endow them with all the emotion of a rare treasure.
