1. Azadea Foundation's 4th Plantation Day
Following the annual tradition of serving its continuous commitment to increase the space area of trees in Lebanon, Azadea Foundation – managed and financed exclusively by Azadea board members and employees since 2011 – teamed up with Jouzour Loubnan, a Lebanese reforestation NGO, to organize its 4th Plantation Day on Saturday, October 31st in Kfardebian. Over 300 Azadea employees and their families joined their efforts to plant 4,000 native trees across the mountain near the areas planted in the previous years.
2. Almaza's mission to Protect the environment
Almaza, in collaboration with GGRIL, decided to tackle two severe problems; the wastage of green glass openly dumped in nature and the uprising garbage crisis. For this reason, Almaza gathered and sent its green bottles to Khalife Brothers in Sarafand. The bottles were crushed and recycled into re-usable beer glasses. These glasses will be given to consumers as part of a nation-wide promotion. 3. T. Gargour & Fils enhances Customer Care
T. Gargour & Fils organized its first Mercedes-benz Integral Safety and Professional Accident Repair Conference according to Mercedes-benz guidelines, which was held at Hilton Beirut in the presence of leading auto insurance companies and Mr. Andreas Roehl, Body & Paint Repair Competence Manager from Daimler Middle East. Centering on in-depth discussions over safety features, standards for repair, training and certifications needed in addition to solutions for the complex challenges associated with Accident Management, the conference focused on working together to jointly reach an even higher level of customer satisfaction.
4. Jameson's U2 Competition
Following the sold out tour of Dublin’s iconic rock band U2, Jameson whiskey, the N. 1 Irish whiskey, launched a competition whereby a winner would get to watch U2 perform live in Paris along with the guest of his choice. The prize included: 2 airline tickets, 2 U2 concert tickets and a stay in a 5 star hotel for 2.
