1. Azadea Foun­da­tion's 4th Plan­ta­tion Day

Fol­low­ing the an­nual tra­di­tion of serv­ing its con­tin­u­ous com­mit­ment to in­crease the space area of trees in Le­banon, Azadea Foun­da­tion – man­aged and fi­nanced ex­clu­sively by Azadea board mem­bers and employees since 2011 – teamed up with Jouzour Loub­nan, a Le­banese re­for­esta­tion NGO, to or­ga­nize its 4th Plan­ta­tion Day on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 31st in Kfarde­bian. Over 300 Azadea employees and their fam­i­lies joined their ef­forts to plant 4,000 na­tive trees across the moun­tain near the ar­eas planted in the pre­vi­ous years.

2. Al­maza's mis­sion to Pro­tect the en­vi­ron­ment

Al­maza, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with GGRIL, de­cided to tackle two se­vere prob­lems; the wastage of green glass openly dumped in na­ture and the up­ris­ing garbage cri­sis. For this rea­son, Al­maza gath­ered and sent its green bot­tles to Khal­ife Broth­ers in Sarafand. The bot­tles were crushed and re­cy­cled into re-us­able beer glasses. Th­ese glasses will be given to con­sumers as part of a na­tion-wide pro­mo­tion. Mayssam Badri, Mar­ket­ing Man­ager at Al­maza, ex­plained, “We are con­fi­dent that this project will help in over­com­ing the en­vi­ron­men­tal is­sues faced to­day and we call on all stake­hold­ers in the beer­mak­ing sec­tor, and out­side it to join us in the bat­tle.” With this ini­tia­tive, Al­maza in­vites all other Le­banese brands that use glass to start pro­tect­ing the en­vi­ron­ment be­cause in the end,

3. T. Gar­gour & Fils en­hances Cus­tomer Care

T. Gar­gour & Fils or­ga­nized its first Mercedes-benz In­te­gral Safety and Pro­fes­sional Accident Re­pair Con­fer­ence ac­cord­ing to Mercedes-benz guide­lines, which was held at Hil­ton Beirut in the pres­ence of lead­ing auto in­sur­ance com­pa­nies and Mr. Andreas Roehl, Body & Paint Re­pair Com­pe­tence Man­ager from Daim­ler Mid­dle East. Cen­ter­ing on in-depth dis­cus­sions over safety fea­tures, stan­dards for re­pair, train­ing and cer­ti­fi­ca­tions needed in ad­di­tion to so­lu­tions for the com­plex chal­lenges as­so­ci­ated with Accident Man­age­ment, the con­fer­ence fo­cused on work­ing to­gether to jointly reach an even higher level of cus­tomer sat­is­fac­tion.

4. Jame­son's U2 Com­pe­ti­tion

Fol­low­ing the sold out tour of Dublin’s iconic rock band U2, Jame­son whiskey, the N. 1 Ir­ish whiskey, launched a com­pe­ti­tion whereby a win­ner would get to watch U2 per­form live in Paris along with the guest of his choice. The prize in­cluded: 2 air­line tick­ets, 2 U2 con­cert tick­ets and a stay in a 5 star ho­tel for 2. The Na­tional Lottery pro­ceeded with the draw on Septem­ber 15th and Garo Hakimian was an­nounced a win­ner.

5. GIVE IN TO AL THE WAT CHMAKING TEMP­TA­TIONS this hol­i­day sea­son

Some­times, we give them to our­selves. And of­ten to those we love. A watch is not a ba­nal Christ­mas gift and never will be. Just as we dog-ear the pages of books we have loved to re­mem­ber an in­spir­ing ex­tract, a Baume & Mercier watch marks time with an in­deli­ble im­print.
