Liphakoe, Rovers set the pace in first di­vi­sion

LIPHAKOE have main­tained their im­pres­sive start to the 2014/15 A Di­vi­sion sea­son, win­ning all their five open­ing fix­tures of the cam­paign and yet to con­cede a goal.

The Quthing-based out­fit cur­rently lead the South­ern Stream with 15 points, while sec­ond-placed Ma­jan­tja are on 10 points fol­low­ing three wins, one draw and one loss. Melele are in third po­si­tion on eight points, fol­low­ing two wins, two draws and two losses.

Last week­end, Liphakoe regis­tered a 3-0 win over Roma Boys, while Ma­jan­tja were held to a goal­less draw at home by Manonyane, who are ninth on the 10-team ta­ble.

Mean­while, in the North­ern Stream, Rovers have also main­tained their lead and top the ta­ble with 13 points from four wins, and one draw.

The Na­tional Univer­sity of Le­sotho side are be­ing closely fol­lowed by Maseru Naughty Boys and Litha­ba­neng Golden, who are on 10 points each after three wins, one draw and one de­feat. How­ever, Maseru Naughty Boys are in sec­ond place on the 10-team ta­ble due to a su­pe­rior goal dif­fer­ence.
