THE Le­sotho Times edition of 15-21 De­cem­ber 2014 pub­lished a story head­lined “Home­work goes mo­bile for Le­sotho pupils” from the UK Guardian news­pa­per.the story stated that Ste­rio. me is sup­ported by the Vo­da­com Foun­da­tion, the Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion and Train­ing (MOET), and the Le­sotho Dis­tance Learn­ing Cen­tre (LDTC).

Ste­ has been in com­mu­ni­ca­tion with the Vo­da­com Foun­da­tion and Vo­da­com Le­sotho re­gard­ing the pi­lot project that would in­tro­duce mo­bile home­work to ju­nior sec­ondary school stu­dents in Le­sotho for sev­eral months, and are cur­rently await­ing board ap­proval for the pro­posal which has been de­liv­ered to and is be­ing con­sid­ered by the Vo­da­com Le­sotho Board. No for­mal agree­ments have been made to date. Sim­i­larly, Ste­ has been in talks with the MOET and LDTC to po­ten­tially part­ner in in­cor­po­rat­ing Ste­rio. me into ex­ist­ing pro­grammes, but has not yet signed any for­mal agree­ments. We would like to apol­o­gize for any mis­con­cep­tions and in­con­ve­niences these state­ments may have caused.
