Motivational coach to launch new book

Lesotho Times - - Weekender - Mohalenyane Phakela

AUTHOR and motivational speaker, Mohau Mosoeunyane, will on Saturday launch his debut inspirational book at Victory Restaurant, Pioneer Mall in Maseru.

Entitled The Motive and published in January this year, Mosoeunyane said the book celebrates successful enterprise “in all its shapes and sizes”.

“I am greatly inspired by people who have made it in life and I particularly admire those who have attained success while also maintaining their integrity,” Mosoeunyane said.

“Since teaching comes to me naturally, I share this knowledge and information with a passion.”

He said after reading many “how to” books mostly from an American context, there was need for a motivational book relevant to a Southern African readership. He spent a year gleaning from successful people in Lesotho and South Africa on the formulas for their prosperity.

“At first, the idea for the book sounded a bit farfetched,” said Mosoeunyane.

“But since Advocate (Mary ‘Mathaothe) Bosiu proved it was possible with her book Success Fundamentals Vol 1, I also told myself I can do it too.

“The Motive speaks to the go-getters and those with an unquenchable drive to succeed, who always blaze a trail and push the limits, the people who are not afraid to be different and live life to the fullest on their own terms.”

He said it motivates such people to never settle for mediocrity by helping them to be aware of their strengths and guiding them to discover their own motive.

“The book gives insight on how to maintain focus through the stories of people who passed the test of success such as Leloko Serobanyane and Shereen Hackart.”

Key note speaker at the event, Shereen Hackart, is an experienced business coach who runs a million dollar business.

The launch event will also feature such motivational speakers Dumisane Magadlela from Gauteng South Africa. Dr Magadlela is an internationally-recognised inspirational speaker and qualified leadership expert who also sits on various boards in South Africa. According to Mosoeunyane, the theme of his presentation will be “Success is a Choice”.

Renowned life-coach Limpho Tšenoli is also lined up to speak at the launch, as well as a young and successful businessman, Serobanyane. Mosoeunyane said Tšenoli was a source of inspiration locally for publishing the book.

“She (Tšenoli) is more than a television show host and personality as she is a certified life coach. At the launch, she will reveal her success motive,” he said.

The Master of Ceremonies will be comedian Boihla ‘Neko of Lilaphalapha with entertainment provided by musician Muhjestik Thamae.
