LOCAL artists will once again invade South African shores this Saturday in a show to be held in Ladybrand.

Dubbed Dytz Winter Tour, the show is being organised by local dance outfit, Dynamite Dance Crew, which is affectionately called Dytz by the group’s fans.

According to Dytz member Letsebang Mokitimi the show, which will be held at T-zone Club, is meant to make inroads into the SA entertainment scene. They also intend to launch the album of recent signee, Prime Zeik, their apparel outfit and to shoot Todd Jaiston’s music video.

“We used to perform in Ladybrand a while ago in various shows and over the years built up a following there,” said Mokitimi.

“We have been getting requests on social media from people in Ladybrand to organise a show that will serve them.

“We have invited local artists as well as dancers to not only support us but have an opportunity to penetrate that market by sharing the stage with artistes from South Africa.”

The star-studded list of local artists will include Kaytee Fresh, Moolah Sherman, Black Ink, Laurel Dreams, Robocop, Kav and Muhjestik. They will be sharing the stage with Matterlyjikz and Kid Chuck from Ladybrand.

Local producers and musicians T-mech and Chocolate Soul are also set to make special appearances at the event while Dytz will battle it out on the dance floor with Allian Fam from Johannesburg, Supremacy and VG Crew.

“Allian Fam saw our videos on Facebook, since we normally upload them on that platform, and expressed surprise to that level of talent coming from Lesotho and we hooked up with them,” said Mokitimi.

“We believe the event will afford us opportunities to network as we aspire to feature in the music videos of high profile South African artists or as a dance troupe during their performances.

“As local acts, we are all eyeing the South African market as that is where artists can make a living from their talent.”
