motswako Invasion consists of Batswana and South African artists singing in Setswana and Sesotho who have been touring the two countries. According to Spring madness organiser, Dallas T, the motswako Invasion was eager to perform in Lesotho.
“Since we started Spring madness two years ago, motswako Invasion, which is a team of prominent mcs, has been creating a lot of buzz around Botswana and South Africa,” he said.
“They have always wanted to come to Lesotho as a team, and this has only been possible now. motswako Invasion normally performs over three days, but they cannot all be here as cassper Nyovest will be performing in Johannesburg on the same day and also supported by HHP.”
Dallas T said the event was also meant to give local artists the opportunity to perform alongside foreign acts and share ideas for their development.
“Spring madness is mainly aimed at giving local acts the platform to spread their wings by sharing the stage with artists who have actually made it in the entertainment industry,” he said.
“It will also serve as a platform for networking and create opportunities for collaborations which will foster the development of local artists.”
MOTSWAKO’S Duncan will perform at Victoria Poolside in Maseru.
