Thaba-tseka man jailed for reckless driving
A 25-YEAR-OLD Thaba-tseka man will spend the next two years in jail for reckless driving.
According to police spokesperson, Senior Inspector Clifford Molefe, Limpho Putsoane was jailed after failing to raise the M2 000 fine imposed by the Thaba-tseka Magistrate’s Court.
“Limpho Putsoane appeared before the Thaba-tseka magistrate on 29 October charged with reckless driving. The court found him guilty of the charge and sentenced him to two years in jail with the option of a M2 000 fine,” Snr Insp Molefe said.
In another crime story from the same district, a 40-year old man was sentenced to six years in jail for stocktheft.
According to Snr Insp Molefe, Teboho Tekane appeared ared before the Thaba-tseka Magistrate’sagistrate’s Court charged with stealing 13 sheep.
“Tekane was foundd guilty of the charge, and sentenced enced to six years in jail with the option of a M6 000 fine. After failingailing to raise the fine, Tekanene was immediately taken into custody and is servingg his time.”
