OR­GAN­IS­ERS of the “Rock­to­ber Life­style Pic­nic” slated for Durham Link on 1 Oc­to­ber 2016 have promised rev­ellers a day to re­mem­ber.

Event or­gan­iser Har­ris T this week told the Week­ender the event was aimed at wel­com­ing spring in style through var­i­ous forms of en­ter­tain­ment for dif­fer­ent age groups in­clud­ing ta­ble soccer, monop- oly, ar­cade games, jump­ing cas­tles and swim­ming.

“We will be rocking Oc­to­ber hence the ti­tle of the show. We are also cel­e­brat­ing spring in a stylish way,” Har­ris T said.

“We have lined up dif­fer­ent ac­tiv­i­ties that will be en­joyed by ex­tro­verts in the cool breeze from Maqa­lika Lake with braai and re­fresh­ing drinks.”

He said their en­ter­tain­ment out­fit, The Chron­i­cles – House of Events, al­ways strives to pro­vide unique ex­pe­ri­ences for rev­ellers, adding there would also be var­i­ous mu­si­cal per­for­mances.

“Mu­sic sets up the scene so there will be var­i­ous per­for­mances from dif­fer­ent lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional acts which I can­not re­veal as the plan is to sur­prise peo­ple. Those who have been to our events know what I am talk­ing about,” said Har­ris T.
