The event will be staged in collaboration with entertainment outfit, Jam Sessions Sound.

“I have always celebrated my birthdays with intimate parties and I felt being 30 means I have to look back over the past years and the challenges that I overcame hence an event of this kind,” SK said in an interview with the Weekender this week.

He said he had decided the event should also be about people born during this period because “they are said to be strong, commanding, intense, passionate and zealous fighters who impact positively on other people’s lives”.

“However the event is open to everyone who is up for a good night of House and Hip Hop sounds.

“The lineup is made up of local acts currently making waves in the entertainment scene as well as their counterparts from South Africa.”

He said the event was also aimed at introducing Scorpio Knight as a brand “which seeks to make an impact on the entertainment scene,” adding they were strategising and would shortly be announcing how they planned to conduct their business.
