Sunday Express - - SPORT -

pect to hold a week-long camp from Wednesday until the 5th of December as we will be jetting off to Angola the following morning,” Rakoto said.

The under-20 Games will be contested by the Region 5 countries that include Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Lesotho and Swaziland.

The bi-annual games are held on a rotational basis and were last staged in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe in 2014.

Lesotho will compete in the five disciplines of athletics (12 competitors), tennis (4), netball (12), boxing (6) and visually impaired athletics (4).

Rakoto, who also serves as president for National Paralympic Committee of Lesotho (NAPCOL), said other logistics had also been taken care of as flights had been booked for Angola.

She said all disciplines knew they were expected to compete well and not just add the numbers at the tournament, adding it was therefore “important that our players do not lose focus and they should concentrate on what is expected out of them”.
