LET’S TALK SHAPES

The good news is narrowing down your shape isn’t rocket science. Just do this: Capture a non-smiling picture of yourself staring straight into the camera with your hair out of your face. This relaxed pose best captures the shape of your cheeks, jaw and chin. Next, compare your gorgeous mug against the common face shapes we’ve listed here.

Use hair to cover the face for a slimmer silhouette

Round

Features are soft while the width and length of your face are pretty even in measurements. This evenness is what creates the close-to-perfect round circumference and rounded chin.

Suitable Hair: A face-slimming haircut should be what you’re after, one that grazes the chin or a cut with graduated layers.

Fitting Make-up: Give cheeks a more chiselled appearance pearance by blending bronzer on the hollows of the cheeks towards wards the hairline at the ears.
