NEO Tamarind’s ex­ec­u­tive chef, Chef Som­bat Kokasemkul has cre­ated healthy selec­tions for the health con­scious. Por­tions are small but tasty and fill­ing. It’s a won­der how all those flavours can be packed into small bun­dles of scrump­tious­ness! There’s the tuna lol­lipop, which is fresh tuna wrapped around a ball of Ja­panese rice served with a dol­lop of caviar. Make sure you try the mar­i­nated salmon paired with lob­ster ice cream. Yes, you read that right – lob­ster ice

cream. It tastes al­most like reg­u­lar choco­late ice cream – cold, creamy and rich – but with a meatier af­ter­taste, mak­ing it an ex­cel­lent pair­ing for the fresh salmon. You also have to try the grilled tiger prawn risotto, grilled juicy tiger prawns placed over a scoop of creamy risotto. One of the more in­ter­est­ing new selec­tions is the foie gras mousse with port wine jelly and pis­ta­chio nut. There is a slight sweet­ness from the port wine but the dish is mostly but­tery, rich and creamy from the foie gras with a slight crunchy tex­ture from the pis­ta­chio nut.
