Dry Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa

Located in the middle of the desert about forty minutes away from the city, this luxury resort was where we got to experience dry heat. Located in the northern desert belt, Dubai has a desert climate that goes up to 48.5 degrees Celsius in the day and drops to 6 degrees Celsius at night. This dry environment coupled with UV rays is a recipe for disastrous skin. Moisture is zapped from skin and the weakened protective barrier causes sun exposure to age skin prematurely. This condition is worsened with hot showers and harsh soaps.
