CLEO (Malaysia) - - YOUR LIFE, YOUR RULES! -

Jealousy can rear its ugly head in different ways. Here are three kinds of frenemies to be wary of.

THE DEFLECTO When you share with her good news about yourself, she always treats it like it’s no big deal and redirects the conversation to herself saying things like, “You got promoted? That’s great, but wait till you hear what happened to me!”

THE PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE Instead of ignoring your good news, the Passive-Aggressive responds with veiled criticism like, “You look great in these pictures! It must be the lighting/

THE DEMOLISHER They try to make you feel bad about your successes, or make you feel as if you don’t deserve them. “You got headhunted? Don’t take the deal! How could you do that to your company after they’ve treated you so well?”
