In most third world coun­tries, women are charged with tak­ing care of the house­hold and this in­cludes the daunt­ing task of col­lect­ing wa­ter. In just one day, 200 mil­lion work hours are con­sumed by women col­lect­ing wa­ter for their fam­i­lies. This is the equiv­a­lent of build­ing 28 Em­pire State build­ings each day.
