In a Relationship

Men and women lie to their partners all the not time but these lies are usually harmful to the other. Pathological liars of the abusive kind on the other hand, lie to hurt and are known to play musical beds. They have numerous partners and none of them know of the existence of the others.

At Work

They pretend to be helpful, get you to do a task, then claim it as theirs. Dr Jegathesan explains that some people do this but only at work. This is because the office is where they think they can’t get ahead without lying and this leads to taking credit for the work of others.
