Time To Man Up!
Tired of your guy using your SK-II skincare? Godfrey Gao now says guys can have a whole set to themself with SK-II Men.
What was your very first memory of skincare?
It was when I was about eight or nine. I came home from school and my mum had a green mud mask on. It dried up after 15 minutes and was supposed to make your skin more youthful. That was the first time I ever tried on a mask. It was from then on that my mum (who was in a skincare line at that time) got me to try on different kinds of facial products so that I’ll get into the habit of taking care of my skin.
How different is SK-II Men from other products you’ve tried?
Before I started on SK-II Men, good grooming was always part of my life because I knew the difference it made in my line of work. But after my experience with SK-II Men, I found that my skin achieved a level of vibrancy and clarity that I had never seen before. SK-II Men has not only transformed my skin, it has also given me a new confidence at work and in my social and personal life.
How does it feel to be associated with SK-II?
Ever since I got involved in entertainment, I’ve always wanted to be the face of a skincare product. SK-II Men has allowed me that honour. So now I’m striving to send out the message to the rest of the men in the world that SK-II Men is real simple and easy to use.
If you could travel back in time, what would be an advice you’d give your 15-year-old self?
Not to use soap to wash my face! When I was 15 I was playing basketball a lot and my team mates did not take care of their skin so I followed suit. After the games we’d all hit the showers and just use a bar of soap to wash up from top to toe. It was a really bad habit.
