The magic num­ber for weekly work­outs seems to be four, ac­cord­ing to a study by The Univer­sity of Alabama at Birm­ing­ham. The up­side? You get three days off to laze around. The study as­signed 72 women to three dif­fer­ent groups – twice-weekly work­outs, four times a week, and six times a week. Re­searchers found that the women who ex­er­cised four times had the big­gest in­crease in en­ergy lev­els over­all.
