Baked brie with hon­eyed figs

SERVES 8 • TAKES 20 MIN

Give the sta­ple cheese plat­ter a cosy treat­ment by warm­ing it up. Pre­pare 20 min­utes be­fore your guests ar­rive so they can en­joy it straight from the grill.

You’ll need:

2 figs, sliced in halves

Honey

200g brie cheese wheel

Lavash crack­ers, to serve

To make:

1 First, turn grill on to medium heat.

2 Coat halved figs in honey ( you can place in a plas­tic bag and shake).

3 Place the brie on an oven- proof tray, sit­ting figs on top, and put on a middle shelf un­der the grill for 12-15 min­utes.

4 Plate up and pour two ta­ble­spoons of honey over the figs. Serve with lavash crack­ers on the side.
