CLEO (Malaysia) - - LOVE & SEX SPECIAL -

Digital Director of Twenty2, Chief Financial Officer of The Livescape Group (Nearly two years together)

How did you end up together?

J: We’ve known each other for 10 years now, as we both studied in Melbourne. I came across a friend who knew him, and I Whatsapp-ed him to say hi. We haven’t gone a day without messaging each other since.

E: Thanks to Future Music Festival Asia ’14 (FMFA) and DOTA, the stars aligned, and we ended up together.

How you balance each other out:

J: To me, we think alike in a lot of ways. But during the times when we don’t, we compromise.

E: We are polar opposites who are deeply in love. She’s kind, while I’m selfish. She’s generous, while I’m stingy. She doesn’t drink, while I do.

Your nicknames for each other:

J: It’s no secret – everyone knows we call each other “Bubba”. Our friends often tease us for “Bubba Lava” being our phone ID caller names.

E: “Bubba Lava” isn’t embarrassing!

Your relationship role models:

E: My grandparents. J: None, but I think as long as you have passion, communication, trust and loyalty, you’re well on your way to a happy relationship.

What was the best thing about attending Livescape’s It’s The Ship 2015 together?

E: Going back to my cabin after a long and exhausting day, into my Bubba’s loving arms. And I’m looking forward to doing it again at It’s The Ship 2016!

J: It was honestly such an amazing experience. Even though Edwin was running around like a headless chicken with close to no sleep every day, he always took the time to give me a big hug and a kiss on the forehead whenever he saw me.
