Growing up, I admit, I wasn’t very “body aware”. I mean, how many of us were? I didn’t realise that some diet and lifestyle habits could affect my body – or creep up on me later on. Fast forward to now, with all the information and inspiration out there, there’s really no excuse to neglect ourselves. “Your body is your temple” – so live it.
Then, I started stalking #fitspo Insta-feeds, tried juice fasts, detoxes, yoga, meditation, Rolfing, acupuncture, and more (okay, but I still love my roti canai and Nescafé ais!). With that, I was really pumped to put together CLEO’s Fitness Issue this July, as my first role as Editor. We at #teamCLEO want you to celebrate the skin you’re in, so we put together game-changing ideas that transform the way you think of eating healthy and staying superactive.
