Yoke Sin an­swers, “it’s good that we are sis­ters so we don’t re­ally fight, and even if we do, it only last for a few min­utes and we go back to fo­cus­ing on what’s best for the brand.” As trendy young women, Yokie and Yoke Sin no­ticed a gap in the in­dus­try: A need for af­ford­able, stylish yet comfy foot­gear that lasts. With shared knowl­edge in Graphic De­sign, and Busi­ness and Com­merce as well as a master’s de­gree in Fash­ion and Tex­tiles — not to men­tion a shoe fac­tory (which stands till this day) as a child­hood play­ground — the Theam sis­ters set out to con­tinue the fam­ily legacy and started mak­ing shoes for the fash­ion­able girl.

If any­thing, the strik­ing eclec­tic graph­ics make the brand sig­na­ture style. And if you won­der where the aes­thetic comes from, the girls are both very ar­tis­ti­cally-in­clined. Yoke Sin re­veals, “
