Here’s a little 411: Chosungah is a legendary make-up artist that has worked with various K-pop idols and superstars we all love. Her work has pretty much revolutionised the beauty industry in South Korea. Now, #TeamCLEO chats direction with the brand’s Global Business Division Assistant Manager, Kristin Ko, on her personal Chosungah22 faves and her take on the ideal K-beauty trends which we can rock on the daily! Chosungah22 started in 2012. The number 22 signifies Chosungah’s 22 years of experience as a make-up artist, and she believes that every woman aspires to stay 22-year-“young” forever. Chosungah22’s philosophy is for make-up to be fun, easy and popping with bright colours like pink, yellow and neon orange that inf luence the brand’s young vibes. I noticed that Malaysian girls love to draw sharp eyebrows and wear thick make-up, whereas Korean girls prefer a natural approach (think “no make-up”) that’s younger-looking. I’m amazed how Malaysians have incredible make-up skills, as we Koreans tend to keep it very simple.
