Jess says to limit your­self to one in­dul­gent meal per day – if you have crois­sants and cof­fee for break­fast, or­der lean pro­tein and greens for din­ner. “Think about what you eat nor­mally,” Jess says. “If you don’t eat three ice creams a day, do you re­ally need to eat three scoops ev­ery day while you’re trav­el­ling?” You’ll feel much bet­ter hav­ing some self-con­trol than feel­ing frumpy for the rest of your trip.
