What do you do daily at work?
My j ob scope involves consulting clients on how to make their buildings more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, which in turn also saves their operating costs.
Why did you choose this career path?
Sure, it’ s not a common one, I usually get laughed at. But I was attracted by the job scope, so that’ s why I went with it.
What was your dream job as a kid?
Actually, I’ ve always wanted to bean engineer. It was not something I saw often as a child and I thought it’ d be interesting.
How would you encourage women to join your industry?
I get to understand the entire construction process and about construction building codes — inside and out! What is empowerment, to you? Being able to go on a never- ending pursuit f or more knowledge and experience.
