Stella McCart­ney ’s Win­ter 2017 cam­paign is haunt­ingly beau­ti­ful , and hits t he con­science pretty hard. The re­al­ity of over­con­sump­tion sets the scene, while im­mac­u­late­ly­dressed mod­els pose on the vast land­fill of trash. The re­sult­ing im­age: A jar ring vis­ual of cause and ef­fect on the en­vi­ron­ment, an is­sue close to Stella’s heart and t he brand, which is com­mit­ted to be­ing re­spon­si­ble and sus­tain­able.
