Her journey into miniature art began in 2007; with a doll house book her sister gifted her from Taiwan. The former mechanical engineering graduate soon realised t hat reading the book cover-to-cover barely satisfied the curiosity in her, and that’ s when she decided to dabble in this intricate art.
“Some of my art works are created from memories, especially those of old school objects, food or snacks we used to have in our childhood,” explained Lim Pui Wan, who also accepts commissioned works, like the provision shop she completed for a client’ s grandfather.
Like many creative souls, this self-taught, full-time miniature artist whose current biggest goa list ohos tan exhibition of her work thrives from solitude .“I love to think before I sleep.
