Entopia, formerly the Pe­nang But­ter­fly Farm, has been un­veiled af­ter 14 months of ma­jor re­de­vel­op­ment works. Over 400 guests at­tended the re­open­ing event, in­clud­ing honorary con­sul mem­bers from Europe, China, Rus­sia, China, Thai­land and YB Chow Kon Yeow, the EXCO for the Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment who rep­re­sented the Chief jin­is­ter of Pe­nang, YAB Lim Guan Eng. The event fea­tured a rib­bon cut­ting cer­e­mony, live en­ter­tain­ment per­for­mances in­tro­duc­ing the learn­ing des­ti­na­tion’s mas­cots, a book launch by Ja­panese pho­tog­ra­pher Kazuo Unmo, and a mass but­ter­fly re­lease in the park.

Entopia boasts one of the largest green walls in jalaysia, its build­ing façade pock­eted by thou­sands of plants cover­ing over 2,000 square feet of wall space.
