Schiphol Air­port is set to earn a ti­tle of royal el­e­gance as the group will now be able to call it­self the “Royal Schiphol Group” fol­low­ing the cor­po­ra­tion’s 100th year in ex­is­tence.

“When a com­pany turns 100 in Nether­lands, they ob­tain the op­por­tu­nity to be­come Royal so we’re now known as the Royal Schiphol Group,” in­formed An­drew Land, Busi­ness Devel­op­ment Man­ager at Royal Schiphol Group dur­ing a me­dia ses­sion with the press. Land added in his speech that the air­port aims to de­liver the best in pas­sen­ger ser­vice and to be­come “the gate­way to Europe” through its brand new se­cu­rity ser­vice sys­tem and newly re­fur­bished de­par­ture lounges. The newly re­fur­bished air­port also con­tains a li­brary where pas­sen­gers will be able to ex­change books free of charge. This event was or­gan­ised by Aviareps.
