Escape! Malaysia - - Luxe Stay -

Shinta Mani Club in Siem Reap designed by legendary architect, Bill Bensley is launching two new hotel packages which invite guests to play an active part in contributing to the local community.

The 39 room luxury boutique hotel’s “Open Doors, Open Hearts” package will allow visitors to donate a water well to the local community from its daily room rate. This small contribution will help to support the activities of the Shinta Mani Foundation which helps families develop access to clean water. Through the building of these water wells, families would benefit in health gains, educational study and work productivity.

The package features a 3 nights’ accommodation in the Deluxe Room inclusive of breakfast. Along with the room, guests will be treated to a half-day tour to a floating village with an ox cart ride, a visit to Phare; Cambodia’s very own circus production, a 90 minute spa treatment and dinner at local restaurant Kroya and Hot Rod.

Lovebirds wanting to mark new milestones in their journey of love may partake in Shinta Mani’s “Romantic Siem Reap” package which features a special blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks. The blessing ceremony is set to commence at the Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm Shrine which houses the twin statues of Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm rumoured to be over 1,000 years old. The twin statues were said to be the source of power for one of the Khmer Rouge generals, Dap Chhoun.

Included in this exclusive package is an afternoon exploration on Ella, a classic Cambodian wooden boat inclusive of sunset drinks and canapés, a romantic dinner on the Shinta Mani Club Rooftop or Cabana featuring a specially prepared six course menu, and the 190 minute Shinta Mani Spa Signature Experience which includes an aromatic milk bath, body treatments and therapeutic facials.

The Shinta Mani Foundation was created by Sokoun Chanpreda, a Cambodian businessman who desired positive changes in his community. Since 2006, a total of 130 wells have been built through the efforts of his foundation.

*Guests are advised to book between April 1st and September 31st to enjoy the most affordable rates for both packages. For reservations, please email book@shinta or call +855 63 761 999 to book this package.
