Michael Delargy to helm GM position at Le Meridien KL
Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur has announced the appointment of Michael Delargy to the position of General Manager. The position will entail him overseeing the strategic direction, guest satisfaction and day to day operations of the newly renovated 420-rooms hotel. Delargy brings with him over 20 years of international hospitality management experience in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 1998 as a Manager in Technology Deployment for Africa, India and the Middle East. Prior to joining Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, Delargy spent three years as General Manager of The Westin Nanjing in China. During his tenure there, Delargy was instrumental in improving guest satisfaction and gaining market share for the hotel. He also served as a Hotel Manager for the preopening of Sheraton Macao which houses 4,000 rooms and as a GM for Sheraton Pattaya Resort in Thailand.
