For one-of-a-kind Asian hotpots and seafood with a variety of soup bases and endless selection of foods to choose from, Sheraton Grand Macao’s Xin restaurant certainly takes the cake. The restaurant’s name literally means “fresh” in Cantonese which was inspired by the vibrant seafood market. The restaurant’s philosophy is simply to offer food based on simplicity with an authenticity of flavours and freshness. An extensive buffet awaits the patron with luxury hotpot sets catering gourmet foods like the Boston lobster, Australian “master kobe” wagyu beef and Kurobuta pork bellies to name a few. The restaurant’s signature cocktail is its delicious tasting sour plum mojito and who could miss the saliva-inducing Curry Laksa said to be most popular amongst its seven soup bases. Last year, Xin Restaurant was among six new eateries to be awarded the prestigious “Bib Gourmand” status by Michelin’s 2017 Hong Kong Macao guide. The status is conferred to restaurants which offer exceptionally good food at moderate prices. For reservation, find out more at www.xinmacao.com
