A LANGE & SÖHNE
Zeitwerk Minute Repeater There was a flurry of activity from the esteemed Glashütte manufacturer, with a subtle facelift of the Saxonia line, a new calibre for the Lange 1 and a blistering black dialled/rose gold Datograph Up/Down model. But the star of the show sits unashamedly at the highest end of Lange’s collection. The Zeitwerk Minute Repeater, the first decimal minute repeater with numeric display, is, by any standard, a work of art. The 44mm platinum timepiece displays hours and minutes as numeral digits on rings and discs and the dial is also home to a small seconds subdial and power reserve indicator. A. Lange & Söhne has dispensed with the conventional slide mechanism that other minute repeaters use in favour of a pusher.
