Canadian stunner Kate King makes her mark in another Dolce & Gabbana fragrance campaign. Here are her thoughts on it.

This is your second fragrance campaign for the brand. How do you feel? “It’s amazing to have been part of the first project. The perfume is incredible and I got to participate in so many unforgettable experiences such as shooting the commercial with film director Giuseppe Tornatore and shooting the stills with Domenico and Stefano. Meeting so many wonderful people and travelling to beautiful places was also amazing. The success of the perfume was definitely an added bonus and made me feel even more wonderful about being chosen to be the face of Dolce & Gabbana again.”

Tell us something about the atmosphere on the shoot. “It was great; there were so many nice personalities on set. Giuseppe is so lovely and kind. I think that creates a really relaxed environment so everybody isn’t too nervous or tense and everyone is just getting their job done.”

How has your life changed since the last Dolce & Gabbana campaign? “Being the face of this perfume and an ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana has been life-changing in so many ways.

I’ve got to go to parts of the world I’ve never been to before and meet so many wonderful people. I now have these amazing experiences as a part of my life and I just feel very lucky.”

How do you feel about Italy? “I love it; I think the food is great. In Sicily, I especially love the fact that people seem to have a slower-paced way of life. They enjoy the things that I think should matter most: family, food and play, which are just as important as work. I think that’s a good mindset to have. Italy is beautiful; there’s a diverse landscape and there are so many wonderful cities that have different things about them that make them great.”
