Lucrecia Crescent

GAX (Malaysia) - - FEATURE -

While her personality can arguably be considered every feminists’ worst nightmare – needlessly guilt-tripping herself into abandoning her lover Vincent, blaming herself for the pain that he went through, e iling and imprisoning herself because she couldn’t commit suicide due to the Jenova-induced immortality – she has been more of a mother gure to Sephiroth than Jenova, the more popular choice of the antagonist’s mother gure. Not only did she actually conceive him, she is actually concerned of what we would become in the future, after the Jenova cells gave her visions of what her son would become. Compared to Jenova, Lucrecia played a much more active role as a mother gure, even if done so poorly, and Jenova never actually given the chance.
