A sneak peek into the latest show-stopping pieces from the world’s best watch fair
What started out as a project to develop timepieces suited for professional use turned into a big watch brand today, known for its history in aviation and military specifications. Bell & Ross released its iconic square watch with graphic lines in 2005, with an essential point of reference in the field of professional aviation timepieces. This year, the brand releases the BR03-02 Horolum with a contemporary-styled case reminiscent of the clocks in aircraft cockpits. This minimalist Bauhausinspired design was established as early as in the 20s, and formed the foundation of modern design. For the “night owls”, this may just be the perfect timepiece as it evokes light and readability. Superluminova coating facilitates reading by day and night, and the colour (intense green) used to light up airport runways can be found on the dial of this spectacular timepiece. The dial is made of micro-blasted brass-rhodium, formed by two superimposing metal plates with a sandwich construction.
