Some 180 exhibitors share a net exhibition area of almost 77,365 square meters within a gross floor area of 106,000 square meters. As the only international motor show held annually during the spring in Europe and on "neutral territory", the Geneva Show is known as one of the most representative in the industry. The top manufacturers always unveil major innovations at the Show, in the presence of their CEOs. This year around 126 world and European premieres have been announced in the “motor cars”, “special bodywork” and “converted cars” sections alone. Some
22 world and European premieres have been registered in the “accessories”, “OEM” and “workshop installations” sections.
The Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) is the largest annual exhibition in Switzerland, and welcomes all the
major manufacturers as well as the top automotive designers and constructors of exclusive high performance vehicles, plus numerous suppliers of equipment and accessories to the sector.
Some 900 vehicles, from the most powerful developing over 1000 horsepower to the energy efficient vehicles putting out 0 emission, were on display. Here are some of the highlights from the show!
