Dutch Chef Richard van Oostenbrugge from Two Michelin-starred Bord’Eau will anchor the upcoming event in May
The second edition of the 2017 Art at Curate dining series will take place from 5 to 13 May 2017. Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is delighted to present acclaimed Dutch Chef Richard van Oostenbrugge who heads Two Michelin-starred restaurant Bord'Eau in Amsterdam, as the guest chef for the esteemed event. After a successful debut in April 2016, an increasing amount of intriguing cuisines are coming to Singapore and elevate the experience of fine dining from the land of windmills, creamy cheeses and blooming tulips.
Chef van Oostenbrugge began his career in Gstaad, Switzerland where he picked up some culinary skills from working alongside top chefs. He was often praised for exacting
French cooking techniques and later on braved himself to join luxurious
Hotel De L'Europe in Amsterdam as Executive Chef in 2010. Within two years of opening Bord'Eau, the restaurant received its first Michelin star under his culinary direction, followed by Two Michelin Stars in 2014.
Gourmands can expect to savour his masterpieces such as Potato ‘os a moelle' lozere veal tartare with Kaluga caviar; Langoustine poached in duck fat with ‘katsuobushiAlbufeira' and coffee; Sea bass with coconut-lime sauce and vegetable salad; Duck liver steamed on seaweed broth with umeboshi; and his signature Green Apple dessert.
Art at Curate is separated into three installaments, with the second and third taking place in August and October. Be prepared to welcome Chef Kang Mingoo from Michelin-starred Mingles in Seoul, Korea and Chef AlexandreDionisio from Two Michelin-starred La Villa in the Sky in Brussels, Belgium.
