Lofts: 9-12°

Stock shaft: Fujikura Pro 60 Adjustable hosel: Yes

How much loft change: Eight settings from 9-12°

TECH: Three sole weights can be interchanged, letting you swap between either a low-spin, penetrating trajectory, forgiving high flight or a draw bias. A shottracking sensor in the grip lets you record data for every drive.

WE SAY: At a time when driver prices have skyrocketed, the King F7 is remarkable value for money. All three testers agreed the combination of the squashed, wide head and lively Fujikura Pro shaft gave the impression of the F7 being really easy to hit, which is a great place to start when picking a new driver. It basically offers three drivers from a single head, which is really clever, and means it can be set up for a wide range of golfers. The F7 produced one of the longest single shots of the whole test (289m carry) which proves it’s no slouch.

VERDICT: A seriously good driver, irrespective of price. Throw in the fact it’s US$257 less than other drivers and you can see why we’re such big fans. The ability to track your drives and look at the stats via a free app is the icing on the cake.
