‘Work smarter, not necessarily harder’

Why 100 range balls isn’t as useful as trying to hit the right shot 10 times...

Working on my technique on the course means I am working smarter on my game. I can take a wedge on one hole and throw five balls down and try to work on hitting the same shot – or work on hitting different type of shots from that same distance. Then up at the green I can work on my putting from maybe 10ft. Then on the next tee I might hit four drives or 10 drives or just one. Whatever I fancy. I can balance my training a lot better this way and I know when I have been on the course for four or five hours, I have done a lot of good. I was always mesmerised at how much I got done during a practice round like that, so I have just taken it home with me.
